The German industrial production declined in January. The strongest Eurozone economy still suffers from commercial tensions and Brexit. Industrial production declined for 0,8%. Economists expected the indicator to grow towards 0,5%.
German government has revised again their GDP growth expectations. According to German government, the economic growth may reach only 0,8% in 2019. This is the second GDP revision since the beginning of the year.

The debates surrounding Brexit continue in the United Kingdom. The Prime Minister has to find parliamentary consensus. Otherwise, parliament will take control over Brexit.

US retail sales has grown at 0,2%, however December’s reading was revised towards decline to 1,2%. This December’s growth was the lowest since 2009, when US economy was fighting the recession.
